Knowledge is real power and when you know what to keep an eye out for, it’s really half the battle. We know that Arthritis affects a huge percentage of the adult population, we even have a whole post on the subject.

There are a number of symptoms that may be a giveaway. If your Dog suffers lethargy or stiffness, these could be early warning signs. If they have difficulty sitting or raising themselves up, or are indifferent come play time, they could well be feeling sore.
Another indication is if they flinch when you are touching them in the spine area. They could also find climbing stairs difficult.
