Fatty Meats are also permissible. Bacon features prominently on the Paleo Diet as do Organ Meats which are highly nutritious. Eggs, most spices, and herbs plus tea and coffee are also allowed.

Sugar, starchy foods, grains and cereals, soy and tofu, vegetable oils are just some of the things to exclude from your diet. Dairy, Legumes, Alcohol particularly beer, wine and spirits and processed foods round the list out. You can get creative with your swaps too. We made a Shepherds Pie that had cauliflower mash in place of potato. It was incredibly creamy and flavorsome.
