Honey has wonderful healing properties and that’s just the start of it. Did you know that there are many benefits of honey on the skin and that extends to your scalp and hair. Given that our skin is our biggest organ, we have to be very careful what we use on it.

Honey has many beauty and medicinal purposes and it’s just so good for you.
It makes a wonderful massage oil too. You can add it to your bath and it’s great for bad breath. Some of the medicinal purposes including assisting with digestive issues, lowering cholesterol and acting as a natural cough suppressant. It’s also ideal as an alternative to sugar with many using it as a sweetener.
Honey has excellent anti ageing properties and you can even treat acne and fade scars. These honey face masks from Alluring Soul can treat a myriad of issues and if you want to calm your skin and give it an instant boost, pop it on your face for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off.
You can also use Honey as a daily face cleanser. Just mix it with Coconut Oil. If you want an effective face scrub, try mixing equal parts of Honey and Oatmeal. If you have enlarged pores, shrink them using a combination of Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar.
You can lighten your hair naturally with Honey and you can make a wonderful shampoo with Castile Soap and sweet orange essential oil.
