What You Need To Make Baby Sleeping Sack

  • Soft Fabric
  • Your Baby’s Outfit
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • needle and Thread

Step 1: Fold your fabric in half and lay your baby’s outfit on top. With a pen, trace around the outfit, give yourself half an inch or so around and don’t come in at the legs, just the arms and neck.

Step 2:  Cut around the trace with a sharp pair of scissors.

Step 3 : Create a straight stitch all the way around excluding the collar and arm holes.

Step 4 : Cut a straight line down from the center half way down the sleeping bag. This is how you get your baby in and out.

Step 5 : Turn it inside out. To decorate the sleeping bag, stitch ribbon along the length of the slit you made in the center.

Step 6  Place your baby inside of the sleeping bag and let them sleep safely.
