Tinting Mason Jars in pretty colors is easy when you know how. We’re excited to show you the technique that uses glue and food coloring.

Mod Podge is the secret to your success. This is a popular craft glue that dries clear. It is also used with Decoupage. You can achieve beautiful effects and just like the faux stained glass, it’s an inexpensive DIY that you will love.

Also, be aware that the color/glue will pull away from the edges and will dry with more color in the middle of each section.

Moroccan Tinted Jars

via Jesse Dave

Jessie Dave has chosen a bright and colorful Moroccan vibe and it’s achieved using Mod Podge and food coloring, so it’s a very inexpensive craft project.

As glue is used, it is not recommended that they are used for food storage. On a side note, this project would be perfect for baby food jars too.

They’re perfect for a votive candle holder or a stationery holder. You can also pop some flowers in them for the perfect centerpiece. You can hang them from trees and posts too.

They make wonderful outdoor lanterns also. The uses are endless and we’re sure you’ll find many more ways to use them.
