1. Remove the lower leaves off the stem by wiggling side to side.

2. After removing lower leaves, place them face up in potting soil.

3. Now, wait (a few days to one week) until the ends of each leaf dry up and callous over.

4. Once wilted, place each leaf back in potting soil to start growing roots and a whole new plant again.

Succulent Watering Tips

via HGTV

The most important watering rule when it comes to succulents is to ensure that the soil is bone dry.

You must let the soil dry out completely between waterings. If the soil isn’t crumbly and the dirt completely dry, do not water.

Whilst most other house plants like to be kept moist, succulents do not.

Another great tip is to gently spray the leaves using a water bottle. This hydrates them, but again, water sparingly. We can’t stress enough the importance of only watering the surface of the terrain when it is completely dry.
