Nail Polish Swirl Coffee Mugs Video

Audra from The Kurtz Corner has created a video. The tutorial only runs for a couple of minutes.

She shows you just how easy they are to make. All you need are some white coffee mugs, nail polish and a container to dip them in. Click Play above to watch Audra now ^

Here’s the gorgeous results of Audra’s from The Kurtz Korner. In the video above she used warm water and a toothpick for swirling.

The Nail Polish sits on the top of the water and you swirl it around with the toothpick to create the pattern that you love. As Audra said, the best thing is that no two designs are the same.

You can see that different colors will produce different results and effects. You can also personalize them for friends so that they match in with their decor.

Tissue Paper Watercolour Mug Tutorial

On the I Spy DIY site, they have created watercolor mugs using tissue paper. This version is made by using dishwasher safe Mod Podge and tearing small pieces of tissue paper.

This creates patterns. You then reapply Mod Podge over the top. You can find details of the project here.

  1. If you took the time and watched her tutorial she said straight out that they do not hold up well in the dishwasher to wash by hand.i
