Felipe The Flamingo Knitting Pattern

Felipe the Flamingo is a bright and long-legged bird. Made using only yarn and toy stuffing, you won’t need any extra materials for this floppy friend. He measures about 30cm/12in from the tip of his beak to the end of his body and is 26cm/10¼in when seated.

His legs are actually left unstuffed so they can be posed in whatever way you’d like. With the exception of his head and neck, all of him is easily knitted in the round and stuffed as you knit.

Percy The Puffin Pattern

No bird collection would be complete without a pudgy little puffin! Percy the Puffin is a cuddle 18cm/7in from seated. A project for more adventurous knitters, he is completely made using the intarsia method.

Luckily, TrishleMoose’s patterns are easy to follow. Once you have the method down, you’ll be able to make your own little puffin too.

Beverly the Blue Wren Bird Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

Beverly the Blue Wren is a smaller bird who looks absolutely adorable just sitting about. She’s 16cm/6in tall and full of bright colors.

She’s made using no intricate intarsia stitching but instead knitted in two pieces which are joined together with a simple mattress stitch.

Peggy The Pelican Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

This perfect-looking pelican has a super long break, making her 28cm/11in from the tip to the end of her body.

Three colored stripes on her wings give her an extra fun look too. You can choose to knit her in the round or flat as well, and you can easily stitch all the pieces together using a simple seam.

Budgie Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

You won’t hear a peep from this birdie, but he’s sure to put a smile on your face. Standing at 25cm/10in he’s bigger than the average budgie, but that just makes him extra cuddly.

All of the pattern pieces are stitched together using the simple mattress stitch and made with basic knitting stitches too.
