Peacock Knitted Bird Pattern

via TrishleMoose

Meet Norman the Peacock. Standing at  21cm/8¼in, he’s a fun bird to knit. His feathers are completely knitted. You can use either flat knitting needles, or circular depending on your preference.

You’ll also be glad to hear that all of TrishleMoose’s patterns are reviewed by a professional pattern maker. This means that they’ll always be easy for you to understand, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro.

Felipe The Flamingo Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

Felipe the Flamingo is a bright and long-legged bird. Made using only yarn and toy stuffing, you won’t need any extra materials for this floppy friend. He measures about 30cm/12in from the tip of his beak to the end of his body and is 26cm/10¼in when seated.

His legs are actually left unstuffed so they can be posed in whatever way you’d like. With the exception of his head and neck, all of him is easily knitted in the round and stuffed as you knit.

Toucan Knitted Bird Patterns

via TrishleMoose

Graham the Toucan is made completely out of yarn, just like all of the other bird patterns. He has a colorful toucan beak and tail and standing at 30cm/12in down to his feet, he’s a fun bird to add to your collection.

TrishleMoose is also around to reply to any questions you have about any of her patterns, including these Knitted Bird Patterns. She typically gets back to you within 24 hours so you’ll never have to wait long for help.

Percy The Puffin Pattern

via TrishleMoose

No bird collection would be complete without a pudgy little puffin! Percy the Puffin is a cuddle 18cm/7in from seated. A project for more adventurous knitters, he is completely made using the intarsia method.

Luckily, TrishleMoose’s patterns are easy to follow. Once you have the method down, you’ll be able to make your own little puffin too.

Sonia the Heron Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

This beautifully knitted heron is made using blended grey wool for the body, which gives her a true heron-type look.

Sonia has a super long neck and legs that you’ll love to display in all sorts of positions. You’ll have a beautifully finished heron standing at a tall 37cm/14½in from beak to the tip of her body.

Trevor Turkey Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

A bright and colorful turkey, Trevor could be the perfect centerpiece to your fall table! At  23cm/9in when sitting, he’s the perfect size for cuddling or displaying.

You won’t need to know any tricky stitches to make this turkey either. The color changes on his neck are done using simple slip stitches.

Beverly the Blue Wren Bird Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

Beverly the Blue Wren is a smaller bird who looks absolutely adorable just sitting about. She’s 16cm/6in tall and full of bright colors.

She’s made using no intricate intarsia stitching but instead knitted in two pieces which are joined together with a simple mattress stitch.

Peggy The Pelican Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

This perfect-looking pelican has a super long break, making her 28cm/11in from the tip to the end of her body.

Three colored stripes on her wings give her an extra fun look too. You can choose to knit her in the round or flat as well, and you can easily stitch all the pieces together using a simple seam.

Budgie Knitting Pattern

via TrishleMoose

You won’t hear a peep from this birdie, but he’s sure to put a smile on your face. Standing at 25cm/10in he’s bigger than the average budgie, but that just makes him extra cuddly.

All of the pattern pieces are stitched together using the simple mattress stitch and made with basic knitting stitches too.
