Today’s project is ideal for all your leftover fabric. You will learn how to sew broken herringbone patchwork and you can make wall art, quilts, placemats, to name a few.

This project is surprisingly simple once you know how. In fact, if you are a beginner quilter, this project is something you will be able to do.

All you need to do is gather up all those leftover scraps of fabric, cut them into short strips, and stitch them together. The result will be a beautiful broken herringbone pattern that’s just so easy. We love the patchwork effect and you could make a gorgeous coverlet for your bed too.
