You can use this process in so many ways. Whilst she has used it to cover a bucket, we got to thinking about all the different items that you could give an instant makeover to.

Here’s another great way you can use this technique. Pretty up your Clay Pots like the ones below. We found them on Dave’s Garden and think it’s a fabulous idea. As you can see, anything goes. You can leave the lip of the Clay Pot exposed for a bit of contrast or you could cover the pot in its entirety. You could even use contrasting rocks and pebbles.
Materials To Make A Rock Covered Bucket
- Strong (not flimsy!) metal can or bucket that holds its shape when moved
- 2 sheets 12” x 12” river rock mesh tile
- thin set mortar
- grout (sanded or non-sanded)
- putty knife
- large sponge
