It is very simple to make these Broken China Stepping Stones. Simply wrap your plate in a towel and use a hammer to smash your plate into smaller pieces.

You can use cake pans or foil baking pans for your molds and a good trick is to oil the pan. You can also insert plastic wrap so that you can then slide it out when your project has dried.
