Coconut Rough Slice Recipe
When it comes to this recipe, there are 2 layers that you make. Here are the ingredients that you will need to recreate this recipe at home.
- 150g (5.2oz) butter, softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 ½ cups plain flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Coconut Rough Icing Ingredients
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 100g (3.5oz) butter, melted
- 4 tsp cocoa powder
- 2 cups coconut
- 2/3 tin sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence

Coconut Rough Slice Instructions
Preheat oven to 180˚C or 160˚C fan-forced. Grease and line a slice pan. Cream the butter and sugar until pale. Mix in the dry ingredients and press into pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl and spread over the base while still warm. Leave to cool for 10 minutes. Cut while still warm.
