You can make your Chocolate leaves in White, Dark or Milk Chocolate. The more veins a Leaf has the more realistic the result will be. As you can see from the pictures above and below, the right leaf delivers truly stunning results.

How To Make Chocolate Leaves Video
All you need are some leaves, you could use Mint Leaves or something bigger, some tempered chocolate and a brush to paint your leaves. Simply paint your leaves with the chocolate using a nice consistency.
You will then lay them on parchment or no stick paper and pop them into the freezer. Once they are set, you can peel off the leaves so the lovely imprint of the leaf is exposed.

Here’s another version we found from Trisha of Momdot.com – you can see just how gorgeous they look when and they sure look amazing in white chocolate.
The Cupcake Project has taken a different approach and used a freestyle technique. On parchment paper they have made an outline of a leaf with a chocolate finger and then combed out the leaves with a cake decorating comb – they tried with a fork but it didn’t work out so well. That’s why the comb is recommended.
