This recipe is made using canned tuna so it’s super simple. This will be a new go-to recipe and you can substitute with Salmon if you prefer. So, let’s see what you are going to need.
Easy Cheesy Tuna Balls Ingredients
- 340 grams (12oz) in water, drained
- 2 Tablespoons breadcrumbs
- one beaten egg
- one green onion chopped finely
- one cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons miracle whip/mayo
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to season

Easy Cheesy Tuna Balls Instructions
To a bowl add drained tuna, green onion, shredded cheese, miracle whip/mayo plus garlic powder and salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop up the mixture into the palm of hand and roll in a ball.
Drop into the breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.
Allow Balls to chill for an hour in the fridge until they harden up.
Drop into the egg mixture and cover completely. Place gently into breadcrumbs and roll around until fully covered. Place back on the plate.
Drop gently into oil that is preheated to 350 degrees (176F). Roll them around until they become crispy and golden brown. After around 4 minutes remove and pop on a wire rack.
Plate up and serve. Enjoy!
