Florentine Biscuits Recipe

- 3 cups corn flakes
- 2/3 cup roasted peanuts
- 2/3 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup glace cherries chopped
- 1 tin condensed milk (equivalent to 1 cup)
Chocolate Coating (optional)
- 200g dark (7oz) 70% cooking chocolate
- 1 teaspoon of oil

How To Make Florentine Biscuits Recipe

Mix the first 6 ingredients in a bowl.
Put spoonful of mixture on to baking tray lined with baking paper
Bake in the oven for 14 – 16 minutes.
Cool on baking tray
Melt chocolate in microwave in 30 sec bursts. Stir in between bursts.
Add the oil and mix well.
Coat the base side of Florentines and let the chocolate set.
