She says it’s incredibly moist and it’s the ideal accompaniment to a cuppa. It’s also super yummy when toasted and buttered. Either way, we know you are going to love it.
Gingerbread Loaf Recipe Ingredients
- 150g (5.3oz) butter
- 100ml (3.4oz) golden syrup
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- One tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- One Tbsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- one egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar extra for topping
