Homemade Butter Recipe Ingredients

- 2 Cups Raw or Pasteurized Whole Whipping Cream
- 2 Quarts Ice Water
- Salt, Seasonings, or Herbs to Taste (optional)
This homemade butter recipe will yield around 1 Cup (8 ounces or 2 Sticks) of Butter. You can halve or double, depending on the amount required.
Your butter will also store for up to 2-4 weeks or longer in the freezer. In both instances, you must store in an airtight container.
