When it comes to the holidays, there are so many things to make. Today we are sharing the hugely popular melted snowman cookies recipe and we know you will love it.

They are so much fun to make and you can use store-bought sugar cookies or our homemade recipe if you prefer. They are decorated with royal icing and they are almost too cute to eat!

Melted Snowman Cookies Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 8 cups confectioners’ sugar, or as needed
  • ¼ cup lemon juice, or as needed

Sugar Cookies

  • 24 sugar cookies
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 1 (.75 ounce) tube black decorating gel
  • 1 (.75 ounce) tube orange decorating gel
  • 75 silver nonpareils, or as desired
  • 1 (.75 ounce) tube red decorating gel

How To Make Melted Snowman Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Using a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

To a large bowl cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Next, beat in the egg and vanilla.

Slowly add in the dry ingredients, blending and folding the mixture.

Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake cookies for around 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Once they are golden they are ready.

Remove from the oven and let them stand on the cookie sheets for a few minutes.

Carefully remove them and leave them to cool on wire racks.
